Spring Photos: Wesleyan University Collegium Musicum and Concert Choir: Seasonal Music Across Four Centuries

On Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Memorial Chapel, a lunchtime concert of choral music by the Wesleyan University Collegium Musicum under the direction of Associate Professor of Music and Medieval Studies Jane Alden, and the Concert Choir under the direction of Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music Nadya Potemkina, featured seasonal music spanning four centuries, including works by Heinrich Isaac, Edmund Rubbra, Gustav Holst, William Walton, and Edward Elgar.

Spring Photos: Cyclical Unity: A WesFest Celebration of Metallophones, Gongs, Voices, and Electronics

On Thursday, April 13, 2017 a one-hour concert took place at Wesleyan University World Music Hall, juxtaposing music from multiple continents, centuries, and technologies, featuring the Javanese Gamelan, Toneburst Laptop and Electronic Arts Ensemble, and the Collegium Musicum.

On Wednesday, April 12, 2017 The Wesleyan Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Noah Baerman, and Wesleyan University Orchestra and Concert Choir, under the direction of Nadya Potemkina, presented a one-hour concert at Crowell Concert Hall.
